Larry J. Phillips, 48, of 4266 Jones St. Ext., Ramseur, died Tuesday, April 25, 2017 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem.

Memorial Services, 3 PM, Saturday, at Central United Methodist Church, Asheboro.

Officiating, Rev. Terry Whitaker.

J. was a native of Anchorage, Alaska. He was a 1987 graduate of Chatham Central High School and received an Associate's Degree in 1989 from Central Carolina Community College in Sanford. J. was a retired firefighter with the Asheboro City Fire Department and a former member of the Ramseur Volunteer Fire Department as well as a Board Member of the Franklinville Fire Department. He loved fishing, camping, repairing cars, going to the beach, eating crab legs, and especially being with his family.  He is preceded in death by his brother, Michael Shawn Phillips, grandparents, Jack Pugh, Edna and Billy Joe Phillips, and father-in-law, Jesse Williamson.

Survivors: wife, Teresa  Williamson Phillips, daughters, Allison Jade Phillips of the home, Sarah Ann Bailey, and husband, T.J., of Siler City, Amanda Lynn Reed, of Ramseur, sons, Noah J. Phillips, and wife, Chelsie, of Ramseur, Caleb Ray Phillips, and wife, Andrea, of Ramseur, Colton Allen Phillips, of the home, parents, Mike and Margaret Pugh Phillips, of Ramseur, sister, Monica Ann Little, and husband, Allen, of Asheboro, grandmother, Anna T. Pugh, of Ramseur, grandchildren, Aydan J. Phillips, Lillian Jade Bailey, Shogun Alexander Bailey, mother-in-law, Brenda Williamson, of Asheboro.

Visitation, 2 PM to 3 PM, Saturday, Central United Methodist Church, Asheboro and other times at the residence.
