Kim Geiler Thomen, 63, of 136 Coleridge Rd., Ramseur, died Friday, April 29, 2016 at her residence.

Funeral Services, 10:00 AM, Wednesday, May 4, 2016, at Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, Ramseur.

Officiating, Rev. Jon Neuhs.

Kim was a native of Parma, Ohio, and relocated to Ramseur, North Carolina in the mid 90's.  She was an artist, a former business owner and recently retired as an inspector with the USDA.  Kim enjoyed painting, cooking and gardening and also was a previous volunteer at the Battered Women's Shelter.  She will always be remembered for her strength, kindness and loving nature.

Survivors: husband, Frederick "Fred" Robert Thomen, of the home, son, Benjamin David Jakubec, and wife, Ashleigh, and granddaughter, Eleanor Elizabeth of Kernersville, sisters, Ingrid Bobic, of Wickliffe, Ohio, Gretchen Sutter, of Chesterland, Ohio, brothers, Helmuth Geiler, of Ramseur, Erich Geiler, of Medina, Ohio, step-daughter, Nadine Pierce, of Elyria, Ohio.

Visitation, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Tuesday, May 3, 2016, Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur and other times at the residence.
