Kenneth Roger Smeed, 75, of 2691 Cristy Circle, Asheboro, died Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.

Graveside Services, 11 AM, Saturday, July 16, 2016, at Patterson Grove Christian Church, Ramseur with Military Honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard.

Officiating, Rev. Tim Poindexter, Rev. Ben Hurley.

Kenneth was a native of Cumberland County, PA, veteran of the U.S. Army and attended God Outreach Ministries. Kenneth retired from the home interior Industry and Accuchrome Tool & Mold. He was preceded in death by his parents George A. and Dorothy Wilkinson Smeed.

Survivors: wife, Polly Ferguson Smeed, daughter, Mandy Smeed Shields, and husband, David, of Liberty, son, Jason Clark, of Asheboro, sister, Gloria Smeed, of Asheboro, brother, George E. Smeed, of Naples, FL.

The family will receive friends following the service in the church fellowship hall and other times at the residence.
