Kathy Aldridge Schaefer, 56, of 4456 Holly Spring Rd., Ramseur, died Sunday, September 11, 2016 at Randolph Hospital in Asheboro.

No services will be held.

Kathy was a native of Columbus, Ohio and formerly employed in the Furniture Industry. She was preceded in death by her father, Clarence Edward Aldridge, brothers, Danny Lee Aldridge, Billy Dale Aldridge, and Clyde Aldridge.

Survivors: husband, Raymond Schaefer, of the home, daughters, Wendy New and husband, Michael, Johni Schaefer, both of Ramseur, Terri Dudley, of Asheboro, son, Raymond John Schaefer, III, of Ramseur, mother, Wilma Osborne Aldridge, of Jeffery, WV, sisters, Teresa Aldridge, of Van, WV, Mona Lisa Aldridge, of Jeffery, WV, Bernadine Ball, and husband, Cliff, of Laurel, WV, brothers, Darrell Aldridge, and wife, Katherine, of Hurricane, WV, Roy Aldridge, and wife, Teresa, of Winfield, WV, six grandchildren, two cousins who were like sisters, Beatrice Bartram Farmer, of Rome, Ohio, and Darlene Taylor, of Branchland, WV .
