Joseph Martin Needham, 81, of Seagrove, died Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at his residence.
Funeral Services, 3 PM, Saturday, March 17, 2018, at Antioch Christian Church, 5789 Antioch Church Rd., Seagrove.
Officiating, Rev. Bryan Maness, Rev. Brian Faircloth, Rev. Gerald Ward.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery with Masonic Rites and Military Honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard.
Joseph was a native of Randolph County, a 1954 graduate of Seagrove High School, a veteran of the United States Army, and a member of Antioch Christian Church where he served as a Trustee, Sexton, Sunday School teacher, and a youth leader. He was previously employed by Klopman Mills and retired from Georgia Pacific where he worked in maintenance. Joseph was a member of Marietta Lodge 444 in Ramseur. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Joseph was preceeded in death by his parents, George and Rachel Hayes Needham, daughter, Lori Needham, sisters, Moleta Staley, Emma Ritter, Mary Caviness, and Vera Asbill, brothers, Luther Needham, Brewster Needham, Kelly Needham, Edsel Needham, Amos Needham, and Monroe Needham.
Survivors: wife, Nancy Brown Needham of the home, daughters, Vivian Deaton, and husband, Charles, of Seagrove, Tammy Garner, and husband, Andy, of Denton, son, Joey Needham, and wife, Melissa, of Ramseur, sister, Rosa Owens, of Seagrove, brother, Hansel Needham, and wife, Ruby, of Asheboro, grandchildren, Chad Deaton, and wife, Amanda, Ross Garner, and wife, Mindy, Rachel Garner, Rebekah Needham, Matthew Needham, Cody Wright, and wife, Caroline, Kaz Wright, and wife, Sherry, Tagan Silvers, great-grandchildren, Warren Garner, Camden Wright, Colten Wright, sisters-in-law, Epsie Needham, Lucy Needham, Billie Needham, brother-in-law, Floyd Caviness, and numerous nieces and nephews.
