Jerry Henderson Padgett, 84, of Franklinville, died Wednesday, April 26, 2017 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.

Memorial Services, 3:00 PM, Sunday, at Franklinville United Methodist Church with Military Honors by the Randolph County Honor Guard.

Officiating, Rev. Harold Hammond, Rev. Chris West.

Jerry was a native of Rutherford County, retired from Burlington Industries, served in the U. S. Air Force. He also was a member of Franklinville United Methodist Church where he served as Sunday School Teacher for many years. He was preceded in death by his parents, Noyce Leon and Elsie Mae Henderson Padgett.

Survivors: wife, Shirley Craven Padgett, of the home, son, Bradford Padgett, of Dumas, Texas, daughters, Kimberly Sheppard, and friend, John, of  Climax, Kelli Ogletree, and husband, Roger, of Franklinville, Kristy Sawyer, and husband, Tommy, of Asheboro, sisters, Barbara  Frazier, of Asheboro, Mary Edwards, and husband, Rich, of Clearwater, FL., Martha Gazaway, and husband, Mark, of Asheboro, grandchildren, Megan Rae Sheppard, Chloe Noel Padgett, Heather Lynn Ogletree, Hannah Marie Ogletree, great-grandchild, Landon Michael  Goode.

Visitation, 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM, Sunday, Franklinville United Methodist Church, Franklinville, and other times at the residence.
