Janet Hege York, 57, of 2185 Woods Stream Ln., Asheboro, died Sunday, April 15, 2018 at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston Salem after a courageous battle with leukemia.
Funeral Services, 11:00 AM, Thursday, April 19, 2018, at Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, Ramseur.

Burial, Grays Chapel United Methodist Church Cemetery, Franklinville.
Janet was a native of Davidson County and a member of Main Street Baptist Church, in Biscoe. She was a substitute teacher with Randolph County Schools where she diligently served for nine years with PTO. She was preceded in death by her mother, Alice Tysinger Hege.
Survivors: husband, Rev. Jeff York, of the home, daughters, Christy Petersen, and husband, Tim, Felecia Taylor, and husband, Michael, both of Asheboro, father and mother, David Hege and Evonne, of Franklinville, sister, Cindy Davis, and husband, Mike, of Charlotte, brothers, Dale Hege, and wife, Jan, of Ramseur, Lewis Brown, and wife, Tonya, of Asheboro, Rodney Brown, and wife, Deanna, of Ramseur, grandchildren, Haley Billups, Natalie Billups, Gabriella Taylor, Abigail Taylor, Landon Petersen, Levi Petersen, numerous nieces and nephews and very best friends, Beth Brown, Amber Greenwood.
Visitation, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Wednesday, Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur and other times at the residence.
