Hubert Clifton Wright, 71, of Asheboro, died Saturday, April 16, 2016 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.

Funeral Services, 3 pm, Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at Bethel Friends Meeting, Asheboro.

Officiating, Rev. John Reece.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Hubert was a native of Randolph County, retired owner and operator of Richland Electric Co., a member of Bethel Friends Meeting and was a member of the Randolph County Electrical Contractors Association.  He was preceded in death by his parents Talmer and Bertha Stout Wright, and sister, Estelle Cox.

Survivors: wife, Margie Burr Wright, of the home, daughters, Angela Renee Wright Hartsell and husband, Rusty, Kimberly Dawn Wright Smith, and husband, Darin, both of Asheboro, son, Roy Clifton Wright, and wife, Pamela, of Asheboro, sisters, Alice Richardson, Gladys Kinney, and husband, Alvin, both of Asheboro, brothers, Howard Wright, and wife, Carol, Boyd Wright, and wife, Margaret, both of Asheboro, grandchildren, Preston Wright, Kaitlyn Wright, Meredith Hartsell, Mason Hartsell, Mariah Hartsell, Tanner Smith, Curtis Smith, many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews.

Visitation, 1 PM to 2:30 PM, Tuesday, Bethel Friends Meeting with a meal provided for the family and friends and other times at the residence.
