Helen Kirkman Benner, 91, of 1733 Lantern Dr., Asheboro formerly of Ramseur, died Friday, March 24, 2017 at her residence.

Funeral Services, 3 PM, Monday, March 27, 2017, at Patterson Grove Christian Church, Ramseur.

Officiating, Rev. Steve House, Rev. Ben Hurley, Rev. Eddie Hill.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Helen was a native of Randolph County and a member of Patterson Grove Christian Church. She worked at Randolph Mills, and retired from Asheboro Hosiery. Helen went home to be with the Lord surrounded by her family. She was preceded in death by her husband, John W. Benner, her parents, Cecil, and Mae Yow Kirkman, sister, Mary Jennings, brothers, Jesse Kirkman, and Hamp Kirkman, and son-in-law, Ralph Reeder.

Survivors: daughter, Dianne Hill, and husband, Donnie, of Asheboro, sisters, Lib Deaton, of Ramseur, Clara Parker, and husband, Walter, of Ramseur, brother, Bobby Kirkman, of Ramseur, grandchildren, Rodney Burgess, and wife, Vickie, Laurie Byers, great-grandchildren, Alisha Fox, and husband, Brantly, Makayla Burgess, great-great-grandchildren, Cheyanne Fox, Colton Fox, and Paisley Fox.

Visitation, 6 PM to 8 PM, Sunday, Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur, and other times at the residence.
