Harold Dwain Saunders, 79, of Franklinville, died Tuesday, November 21, 2017 at Brookdale Assisted Living in Asheboro.

Funeral Services, 3:00 PM, Saturday, November 25, 2017, at Loflin Funeral Home Chapel, Ramseur.

Burial, Whites Memorial Baptist Church, Franklinville with military honors by the Randolph Honor Guard.

Harold was a native of Randolph County, formerly employed as a service technician with Simplex Time Company, served in the U.S. Airforce, and a member of Whites Memorial Baptist Church.  Harold enjoyed being a part of the Rand Ol' Opry in Liberty where he played the lead guitar for fourteen years.   He was preceded in death by his parents, George and Martha Jennings Saunders.

Survivors: wife, Letha Pugh Saunders, of the home, brother, Archie Saunders, and wife, Faye, of Pleasant Garden.
