Grover Cleveland "G.C." Marley III, 66, of 1951 Bush Creek Dr., Franklinville, NC, died Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at his residence.

Funeral Services, 3:00 pm, Saturday, July 16, 2016, at Whites Memorial Baptist Church, Franklinville.

Officiating, Rev. Jeff Joyce.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

He was a native of Alamance County, a supervisor with a construction business, and attended Whites Memorial Baptist Church.  Grover was an avid hunter and a member of the National Rifle Association and also North American Hunting Club.  He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia Hiatt Marley.

Survivors: companion, Leatrice Brothers, of the home, father, Grover C. Marley, Jr., of Liberty, sisters, Laverne Rouse, and husband, Robert Charles, of Liberty, Martha Ann Dishman, of Kimesville, brothers, Frank Marley, of Liberty, Lester Odell Marley, and wife, Beth, of Burlington, Nathan Richard Marley, of Whitsett.

Visitation, 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, Friday, Whites Memorial Baptist Church, Franklinville and other times at the residence.
