Gattis Clark Langley, 86, of 1978 Browns Crossroads Rd., Staley, died Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.
Funeral Services, 3 PM, Saturday, December 16, 2017, at Shady Grove Baptist Church, Staley.
Officiating, Rev. Alvin Brooks, Rev. Jared Welborn.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Gattis was a native of Randolph County, retired farmer with Langley Farms, attended the Staley Wesleyan Church and a US Army Veteran. He was preceded in death by his parents, Clark G. and Lucille Patterson Langley, son, Gregory H. Langley.
Survivors: wife, Martha Kirby Langley, of the home, daughters, Janet Stephenson, and husband, Whitley, of Smithfield, Barbara Poe, and husband, Clifton Jr., of Staley, sister, Emma Castelloe, of Greensboro, Magdalene Wright, and husband, Kelvin, of Staley, Katie Stone, and husband, Earl, of Greensboro, Martha Shelby, husband, Paul, of Wilmington, brothers, John D. Langley, and wife, Jenny, of Staley, Joe C. Langley, and wife, Becky, of Staley, seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, daughter-in-law, Stephanie Langley, of Staley.
Visitation, 6 PM to 8 PM, Friday, Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur and other times at the residence.
