Elaine York Freeman, 74, of Staley, died Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.

Funeral Services, 3 PM, Sunday, June 19, 2016, at Shiloh United Methodist Church, Liberty.

Officiating, Rev. Danielle Hammett, Rev. Wayne Dunn.

Burial will follow in the church cemetery.

Elaine was a native of Randolph County, retired from the Randolph County School System, and clerk at the Randolph County Court where she served for thirty years. After retirement, she enjoyed substitute teaching and volunteer work for the Randolph County Schools. Elaine was a member of the Sandy Creek Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Bill Freeman, parents, Earl and Thelma Moser York.

Survivors: son, Kenneth Freeman, and wife, Teresa, of Randleman, daughter, Amber Hardin, and husband, Wade, of Liberty, brother, Earl "Sonny" York, Jr., of Liberty, grandchildren, Whitney Warlick, and husband, Dustin, Daniel Freeman, Douglas Hardin, Henry Hardin, great-grandchild, Gracelynn Warlick.

The family will receive friends following the service.
