Eileen McIntyre Groseclose, 86, of Randleman, died Friday, May 26, 2017 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.

A memorial service will be held at a later date on Mackinac Island, Michigan.

Eileen was a native of Mackinac County, MI, a homemaker, a member of Randleman Womens Club and also Randleman Garden Club.  Eileen loved painting and was an accomplished artist in both oil and watercolor.  She also enjoyed writing, especially stories about growing up in the Depression Era and during WWII on Mackinac Island. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dr. James David Groseclose, her parents, Raymond and Florence Dufina McIntyre, and brother, David McIntyre.

Survivors: daughter, Anna Mary Groseclose Marsh, and husband, Donald, of Liberty, MO., son, Raymond Groseclose, and wife, Terry, of Asheboro, sister, Virginia Riodan, and husband, Dan, of Marietta, GA, grandchildren, Jordan Groseclose, and wife, Whitney, of Randleman, Graham Groseclose, of Asheboro, and his fiancee, Brittany Smith, of Liberty, Matthew Marsh, of Denver, CO., Beverly Marsh, of Lenexa, KS., Madeline Marsh, of St. Louis, MO., sister-in-laws, Barbara Hellis, and husband, Brian, of Livonia, MI, Phyllis Groseclose, of Charlotte.

Visitation, 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM, Sunday, Loflin Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ramseur and other times at the home of Raymond and Terry Groseclose, 532 Eastwood Dr., Asheboro.
