Dale Arthur Thomsen, 72, of 4464 Buffalo Ford Rd., Asheboro, died Monday, April 17, 2017 at his residence.

Memorial Services, 11 AM, Saturday, April 22, 2017, at Holly Spring Friends Meeting, Ramseur.

He was a native of Emerson, Nebraska and a retired farmer and carpenter. Dale loved people and serving others, volunteering at Christian United Outreach Center in Asheboro and Heifer Project. He treated everyone he met as family and showered them with random acts of kindness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Rudolph and Neva Hooker Thomsen, brothers, Duane "Pete" Thomsen, Donald Thomsen, sisters, Delores Borchers, Dorothy Trevett.

Survivors: wife, Kathryn Pruitt, of the home, daughter, Neva Thomsen, of Asheboro, son, Ian Thomsen, of Asheboro.

The family will receive friends following the service for a celebration to share stories, jokes, laughter, and tears at the residence.
