Charlene Strider Sykes, 87, of 443 Clark Ave., Franklinville, died Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.

Charlene was a native of Randolph County, a retired insurance salesman with Durham Life Insurance and a member of First Baptist Church of Franklinville. She was preceded in death by her husband, John Ransom Sykes and her daughter, Reba Diane Sykes.
Survivors: son, John Thomas Sykes, of Franklinville.
