Carlie Monroe Hutchens, 97, of Ramseur, died Friday, April 15, 2016 at Siler City Center in Siler City.

Graveside Services, 3 PM, Sunday, April 17, 2016, at Sunset Knoll Cemetery, Ramseur.

Officiating, Rev. Ronald Coleman.

Carlie was a native of Surry County, a U. S. Army Veteran, retired from Howard Brady Oil Company and a member of the First Baptist Church in Ramseur. Carlie was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Poindexter Hutchens, parents, Eugene and Ada Snow Hutchens.

Survivors: daughter, Gaynell Ledwell, of Ramseur, son, Larry Hutchens, and wife, Carol, of Asheboro, grandchildren, Aaron Hutchens, Stan Hutchens, Angela Norwood, Jay Ledwell, great-grandchildren, Adam, Austin, Ashlee, Colton, great-great-grandchild, Madison.
