We can look forward to the day when there will be no more sickness and death. Revelation 21:4 says: "And he (God) will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away". God strengthens us by giving us the "power beyond what is normal" to make it through each passing day. Please accept my sincere condolences. Always remember God loves you and he cares for you!
