Anita Young Cox, 94, of 2584 Mill Creek Rd., Ramseur, died Thursday, February 23, 2017 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro.
Funeral Services, 3:00 PM, Sunday, February 26, 2017, at Pleasant Ridge Christian Church, Ramseur.
Officiating, Rev. Mark Beane, Rev. Todd Brown.
Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Anita was a native of Randolph County, a member of Pleasant Ridge Christian Church, where she was a member of the Women's Fellowship. She was a retired employee of The John Plant with thirty years of service. She was preceded in death by husband, V. C. Cox, her parents, William C., and Mary Peebles Young, and daughter, Melinda Luten.
Survivors: daughters, Beverly Leonard, of Salisbury, Rose Cox, of Salisbury, sons, William D. Cox, and wife, Jacky, of Ramseur, Tim Cox, and wife, Chris, of Ramseur, grandchildren, Kerri Lindley, and husband, Brent, Derrick Cox, and wife, Jasmin, Jon Cox, Leslie Arnold, and husband, Jack, Hannah Leonard, great-grandchildren, Will Cox, Wyatt Cox, Westin Cox, Willow Cox, Seth Lindley, Eli Lindley.
Visitation, 6 PM to 8 PM, Saturday, Loflin Funeral Home, Ramseur and other times at the residence.
